  • SmartSpeed66 Easy Panel Kit

The perfect kit for the RA side panels, no tools required. Fits the MT models.

Fitting is straight forward, Please do not have the RA running when removing or fitting fixings

    The Kit consists of

    • 2 x Black or Gold long shank fixings

    • 2 x  Black or Silver sleeves

    • 2 x Black or Gold Short fixings

    • 2 x Silver threaded U clips {Center fixings

    • 1 x Alloy coloured battery cover screw

    • Nylon washers

Firstly remove any fixings from the panel

This will involve the front phillips screw, the middle phillips screw and on the rear an upwards fitted phillips screw. Remove the panel, taking care to unplug the indicator lead, then remove the centre clip on the frame

Start be clipping the SmartSpeed66 threaded clip on to the centre frame fixing

Then replace the side panel, make sure you connect both the rear indicator wires.

Then using the smaller center SmartSpeed66 fixing bolt add a Nylon washer and screw it in through the panel

Then add a Nylon washer then the spacer to the long fixing and screw that in to the fixing throgh the panel

The remaining coloured fixing is for the battery cover

Finally re-use the RA screw to fit back in to the panel on the rear

    TOP TIPS

The fixing kit can be fitted without removing the side panel, the difficult part is fitting the centre threaded clip onto the frame, it is possible with care

The side panel is a lot easier to fit if you apply WD40 to the rubber strips on the panel and the frame. Use the palm of your hand to slap the panel into place looking to see when the screw holes line up

Keep fixings loose until all fitted, then tighten.

Keep all threads lubricated for best performance, we recommend Grease or Copper Ease not WD40 regulary losen and tighten fixings to avoid corrosion
