  • Do not rush the install, it is easy and requires only a 10mm and 8mm socket , but be patient and read the instructions for an easy install

Firstly remove your number plate and fixings and clean the area thoroughly

Then remove your rear light, this is held on by the 2 x 8mm nuts (Not the 2x 10mm ones) . You can leave it plugged in, as it only needs to come forward a small amout

    Assembly of the indicator bar

The two bent ends of the bar face backwards towards the scooter

Next offer the bar up to the scooter and add the number plate, thread the wires behind the rear light unit and through the wiring hole. Use the bolts and add the spacer ( spacer goes between the scooter and the bracket)

You can then tighten it all up, using the 10mm nuts provided. Some RAs had three number plate bolts, if so we have provided enough spacers and bolts for all three.

    Final Assembly

Click the rear indicator plugs in to the RA wiring loom, Take care when pushing the two connectors together no need for any force,  just take your time and wiggle the connector a bit if required. Check that all the indicators and Hazards work Correctly.

Use the cable ties provided to secure the wiring to the Scooter frame

    Chrome side flash fitting

Remove the indicator from the side panel by releasing the two screw fixings

On the rear of the panel

Clean the area well so the backing plate and vent will adhere well, position the backing plate to ensure the vent fits nicely in the opening then stick it down

    Top Tip

Use a bit of Gaffer tape for extra security, and weather proofing

    Indicator Relay

Finally fit the INDICATOR RELAY, this is not always required. Check your flash speed, and if you think it is too fast, then you will need to fit the relay.

The relay is housed under the headstock (speedo). To remove start with the 2x screws either side of the Chrome light trim, next under the headset locate the 2x philips screws, undo these.

Gently pull the top cover up from the rear and backwards at the same time. You will not have to disturb and any of the wires or fixings.

Identify the relay, it looks like our relay

The relay is easy to replace and is plug and play
